From a management perspective, Azure has enabled a rich management service for Azure IoT Edge instead of the traditional SDK. Edge A synchronizes and communicates with field equipment. Interprete signals from different interfaces and exchange information between devices ,such as modbus RTU/TCP, CAN bus.

Edge X divides and stores fetched data into different levels locally. Only relevant messages are delivered by scheduler. Therefore, the invalid and redundant data is greatly filtered and reduces the burden of cloud analysis services.
